Porco Rosso

Between the wars, somewhere in Italy, Porco Rosso lives in seclusion on a small island in the Adriatic Sea. A former captain in the Italian Air Force, he now earns his living as a bounty hunter, fighting the air pirates who plague the region. An American-style hero, his aerial exploits aboard the “Folgore,” a magnificent red seaplane, make him a living legend. But Porco Rosso hides a mysterious melancholy. Only his friend Gina, owner of the Hotel Adriano, knows the true story of Porco Rosso…
