Ollie
Ollie is the story of a chance encounter between two souls in mourning. A meeting between a boy and a young man. Between the one, consuming life, and the other, just starting out. The story of a rescue line and a launching pad. The story of a fault-line, a fissure demanding to be filled with a shared hobby: skateboarding.
13-year-old Pierre returns to live on his father’s farm after the sudden death of his mother. Bullied at school, he takes refuge in his hobby, skateboarding. He meets Bertrand, a social outcast hiding his skateboarder past, who takes Pierre under his wing. Together, they help each other become whole again.
