Based on Robert Kondo and Dice Tsutsumi’s short film The Dam Keeper and Cristal winner for a TV production at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival (2018), this medium-length film is a poetic work that speaks to universal themes such as friendship, nature, and coming-of-age. Without the use of words, the film relies on the power of images and music to touch young audiences.
