Pilar Palomero offers us a very understated feature film. Watch as these young girls come of age in an environment where they are deprived of the teenage girl experiences they’d like to have.

Presented in the Generation section of the last Berlinale, Pilar Palomero’s first film follows the life of 11-year-old Celia. She studies at a religious school and lives with her mother. Brisa, a new student, pushes her towards a new phase in life: adolescence. In the Spain of 1992, the Universal Exhibition, and the Olympic Games, Celia discovers that life is made both of truths and of lies.
