Let’s go Adventuring!
Ciné Junior, the largest international film festival for young audiences in France, will celebrate its 33rd edition in 60 different partner cinemas and other cultural locations in Val-de-Marne and Île-de-France, from February 1st to 14th 2023.
Cinemas, media libraries, cultural centres, museums, community centres… Nearly fifty venues in the Ile-de-France region will participate in this film festival. Organised by the Cinéma Public Val-de-Marne association with the support of the Val-de-Marne Departmental Council, DRAC Île-de-France, and the Île-de-France Region, since 1991 Ciné Junior has become an essential rendezvous for educational films and outreach to the world for young audiences.
The theme on the agenda of this new edition will take you on a journey: “Let’s go Adventuring!”
Sometimes a great adventure starts with an accident or a happy coincidence!
With courage, valiant friends, and a full backpack, a leap into the unknown becomes a formidable odyssey!
Whether we’re talking about The Gold Rush, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Princess Mononoke, The 400 Blows, Matinee, or Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea… the films on the programme deal with all kinds of rites of passage and coming of age stories, with an invitation to travel, discover, and transcend the self.
